Watching a full class? Pick your school, and we'll push your phone the second a seat opens — and we never show you fake openings.

The short version: we collect the bare minimum needed to send your alerts, we never make you create an account, and we never sell your data.
1. What we collect. (a) the classes and sections you ask us to watch; (b) the notification “topic” you choose, so we can push alerts to your phone; (c) your IP address, used only briefly to prevent spam and abuse (rate-limiting).
2. What we do NOT collect. No account, no name, no password, no payment information, no location, no browsing history.
3. How alerts are delivered. Push notifications are sent through the free third-party service ntfy.sh. Anyone who knows your topic string could read your alerts, so keep it private.
4. How we use your data. Only to run the watch-and-alert service. Nothing else.
5. Sharing. We do not sell, rent, or share your data for advertising — ever.
6. Retention. A watch is kept only while it is active. Stop it (or ask us) and it is removed.
7. Security. We use reasonable safeguards to protect the service, but no system is 100% secure.
8. Children. SeatWatch is intended for college students and is not directed at children under 13.
9. Changes. We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change.
10. Contact / data removal. Want your data removed, or have a question? Email [email protected].
